AUTHOR'S DESCRIPTION: "Definition: Interpretative groups are specified land use and specific management groupings that are assigned to soil areas because combinations of soils have similar behavior for specified practices. Most are based on soil properties and other facts that directly influence the specific use of the soil. Purpose: Interpretative groups allow users of soil surveys to plan reasonable alternatives for the use and management of soils."
