ESML Data Map

The ESML database includes three kinds of records: Source Documents, Ecological models (EMs), and EM Variables. Each record is identified by a corresponding type of identification number (i.e., Doc ID #, EM ID #, and Var ID #). Each record includes several categories of descriptors. Click on a category to see what subcategories or descriptors it contains. Click on a descriptor to see its definition as well as the instructions used by ESML data enterers to interpret and populate that descriptor.
