Variable General Info
Accumulated runoff volume ?Comment:If the Include Local Effects option is unchecked, the resulting grid represents the accumulated runoff volume if a sample were taken at a given cell location including upstream inputs. OpenNSPECT allows users to investigate the impacts of land use changes on stormwater runoff and water quality, in general. Although there is no user interface that is directly related to the estimation of runoff, these calculations are the basis of many of the other OpenNSPECT functions and processes. Each cell of the accumulated runoff grid represents the total value of all upstream cells, which flow into the current cell along the paths delineated in the flow direction grid. OpenNSPECT uses each of these data sets as input to subsequent processes like the estimation ofsediment concentrations. Runoff volume is also a required input to the pollutant concentration module. |
