Therefore, a summer season for Barnstable can vary by a couple of weeks, but on average, there are 107 beach days that make up a summer season. Using predicted visits within the four years, we calculated the average total visits for a single summer. This prediction process was simulated two thousand times, drawing from the distribution of coefficient estimates and random effects to account for uncertainty in our visitation model. |

This prediction process was simulated two thousand times, drawing from the distribution of coefficient estimates and random effects to account for uncertainty in our visitation model. |
