Effort and expertise required

The ideal EM for use in a given situation would require a level of effort and expertise appropriate to the user’s capabilities and requirements.  A model’s feasibility of use may be reflected by ESML descriptors for its degree of use and support and the type and number of predictor variables for which data will be required, as well as the required temporal and spatial resolution of those data.
