Modeling objectives

The ideal EM for use in a given situation should be capable of addressing user-defined modeling objectives and the modeling context.  The following ESML descriptors can be used to identify appropriate modeling uses: the policy or decision contexts of previous applications, the scenarios modeled, the predictor variables or response variables included, and the ecosystem goods and services modeled.
